Pearce Hammond

Pearce W. Hammond was born in Savannah, Georgia and raised in the low country. He is a self-taught artist who draws on life experiences from his coastal environment to create his colorful and unique art. He uses acrylics, pen & ink, crushed oyster shells and other mixed media to paint his view of the low country and scenes from Gullah/Geechee culture and peaceful times gone by.
