November 12, 2011. Red Piano Too Heritage Days Art Exhibit. Showcasing
the creations of several Lowcountry artists.
“Meet and Greet” the artists from 10am-5pm
November 19 & 20, 2011 Plein-Air – Figure at Penn Center & Island Landscape. Nationally Acclaimed oil painter Daryl Urig will instruct a 2-day open-air workshop on St. Helena Island
(minutes from Beaufort SC and 25 minutes from Hilton Head Is., SC) Surrounded by historic Gullah culture at Penn Center, the figure and optional alternate low country, harbor and historic structures will surely inspire any painter. Urig will provide demonstrations and rich instruction on the benefits of having an actionable plan for capturing great Open-Air paintings.
From creating dynamic compositions, mixing rich colors and capturing fleeting light with lively paint. All mediums welcome, demonstrations will be in oil
